Chi Chi London Christa Dress

It's coming up to wedding season now which means if your lucky enough to be invited to one, you have to find that all important outfit. I think I have here the perfect wedding guest dress which is from Chi Chi London*. £59.99
This dress is beautiful and so flattering in all the right places. The flowers look very feminine but the colour is light so not in your face. The shape synchs in the waist and makes legs look longer, especially when worn with heels. I love the summery feel this dress gives off and you are sure to get loads of compliments waring it. Also if it's your wedding and your on a budget this dress could be great for bridesmaids or flower girl dresses. I paired this dress with these light pink heels from Miss Guided which aren't too bright so the attention is on the dress but it breaks the look up and gives an edgy feel.

Chi Chi London has some of the most gorgeous party dresses I have ever seen so go check them out if you have any special occasion coming up

Lots of love

Yves Rocher Anti Wrinkle Cream

Although I don't have any wrinkles yet I want to prevent them for as long as possible, I am sure this is a given for most people. Therefore using a anti aging/wrinkle cream in your 20's isn't unusual anymore. I have been trialling this one from Yves Rocher for a few weeks now and I have to say I am very impressed.
Day cream Now £14 usually £29
Night cream Now £14 usually £29

The night and day cream are both different formula's but work well together. The night cream is lovely and thick in texture to give your face a deep moisturising over night. The day cream is light and sinks in quickly into the skin so you can apply make up straight away. My skin can get very dry after the winter so these creams have really helped keep that at bay. I cannot comment on the anti wrinkle effect as I don't have any but I would like to think for the price it would help reduce them a bit. I have loved using them creams and if they are helping to keep aging away from my face then this is a major bonus.

At first I did think that £29 sounded quite pricey but most high end creams cost that amount. However it is currently half price which makes it a lot better value. The glass pot gives it a premium feel and also contains a lot of product, I think these creams will last me a good few months.

Yves Rocher has a massive range of skincare, body/hair care and make up, check out the range here

Jerome Alexander Magic Mineral Powder

You may have seen this product advertised on the TV, it's the Jerome Alexander Magic Minerals Powder*. When I first saw the advert I thought that it promises to sort out age spots, discolouration and uneven skin tone, and seems to have amazing results, therefore I couldn't wait to give it a try. £9.49
This powder states that it contains antioxidants, vitamin C &E, its hypoallergenic, SPF, non irritant, fragrance free, lasts upto 12 hours and adjusts to your skin tone. The coloured dots act like a CC cream and correct any wrong tones you have in your skin.
Pink brightens pale dull skin
Green is for dull complexions, discolouration, blemishes or marks
Lavender helps camouflage yellow and sallow skin
Yellow cover discolouration under the eyes

As the powder is meant to be a foundation, concealer and corrector all in one I decided to try it on my bare skin as I have a lot of skin problems. I have slight dark circles and red blemishes all over. The powder has a light coverage and barely feels like you are wearing any product. I would say that it provided a very light finish but did colour correct well. My redness was reduced and skin did look more even. If you have clear skin then this would make a nice light foundation on no make up days. However I like full coverage so I decided I would try it on top of my make up instead.
I have been using this as my main powder over my foundation now and I love it. The coverage is light and sets my makeup beautifully. The colour correcting pigments just finish off my look and just make my face look a bit more alive and glowing. I am not sure it lasts 12 hours but it does keep my makeup in place all day and it doesn't feel heavy or cakey. The magic powder keeps shine away and looks great in photo's too.  I like how it comes in a sturdy compact with a big mirror and a small soft brush to apply it with. For only £10 I would say this is good value for money and a lot better than some high street powders out there.
You can purchase the Jerome Alexander Mineral powder here.
