W7 Contour Challenge

Since the Kardashians came onto our screens, most of us have been drooling with envy over their incredible make up. One thing that I have been trying to master for years is Kim K's stunning contours. So when I was challenged by W7 Cosmetics* to 'Create Contours', using their Captain Matte Foundation, Chunky Bronzer and Chunky Cheeks Blusher, it was time to put my years of practice to test.

I was really impressed with this foundation, its quite liquidy but I like this as it's so easy to blend. The Matte finish looks good and doesn't make you look like a piece of cardboard. Unlike some matte foundations I've used, it doesn't come out cakey at all, this is probably as its quite thin. I would say the coverage is medium to full and is buildable. The only thing wrong with this foundation was that the shade is a little bit too dark for me. Although this isn't completely bad as I was looking to buy a slightly darker foundation because my others do not match when I have a tan. Therefore I just mix the Captain Matte one with another one of my lighter foundations to get the perfect shade.

The chunky bronzer is my favourite product I received from W7. It is very easy to apply as it's so creamy, you just swipe it on and then blend with a brush. I apply this under my cheek bones, down my nose and around my forehead. I then blend it with my stippling brush. Again this has a nice matte finish, its brilliant for creating contours and the illusion of a slimmer face . The chunky bronzer is the first cream bronzer I have tried and I love it as it really helps to create shadows. I have used it every time I have done my make up and will continue to do so in the future.

The Chunky Cheeks Blusher stick is a creamer formula which is easy to apply and blend on the cheeks. I really like using cream blushes as I think they last longer. I love the shade also, its a cute baby pink which I didn't think would suit me at first but it really did.
You might not have heard of W7 but you need to check them out as they sell fantastic quality make up and they are such a reasonable price. Check them out here www.w7cosmetics.co.uk.
