Tortilla Mexican

People say you either eat to live or live to eat, I am definitely the latter. I cannot get enough of going out to eat and trying new things. Recently they opened up a Tortilla* in Lakeside Shopping centre, Essex and I was asked to give it a try.
Now I normally wouldn't pick Mexican if I was going to choose a place to eat, not because I don't like it, but because I get bored of it easily. I like to have lots of things to eat on my plate so I can eat little bits of each at a time and not get bored... like a roast dinner for example. But after my mum making fajitas quite often growing up, I have grown so bored of them. Therefore my expectations of Tortilla were quite low as I thought I would get bored after a couple of mouthfuls. Boy was I wrong!

You line up choose whether you want a burrito, taco or naked burrito (which is simply all the stuff inside without the tortilla) and then pick and choose all your fillings. I went for a medium burrito with chicken, tomato rice, pinto beans, onions, peppers guacamole, salsa, lettuce, cheese, sour cream. I had pretty much every filling I think. I also got a side of tortilla chips, just in case I got bored. Oh my goodness it tasted so good, I'm salivating just thinking out it. I thought it was really good value for money, fills you up and is a quick and easy meal if your in a hurry. The burrito I had was definitely the best one I've ever had, packed to the brim with different flavours and textures, there was no way I could get bored. I am not just saying this for the sake of a review, I honestly loved it and ate the whole thing.
It was hard to take a decent photo which looked appealing... Trust me its good!

I would recommend this to everyone and can't wait to go back. If there's one near you and you haven't given it a go yet then get yourself down there! Find your nearest Tortilla here tortilla.co.uk

P.S. Have you tried Tortilla yet? What did you think?
