Got left over Euro's from holiday and don't want to lose out by selling them? What better way to get rid of them than a Mac Haul in Duty Free! Well this is what I tell myself anyways. Here's what I bought on the way home from Spain last month.
I love Mac Paint Pots as they make a great base for any eyeshadow and stay put all day. They are also very handy on those days when you wake up too late, as you can just sweep them across your eyelid. Indianwood is a gorgeous bronze/gold shade which looks so luxurious on its own or I like to build it up with other shimmery gold shadows.
I haven't actually worn Antiqued yet as I have been waiting for the weather to get cooler. The reason behind this is because I think this is more of an autumn/winter shade and will look great around the Christmas season. This Mac shadow is a soft copper/bronze shade with a slight cranberry hit. I love the gold shimmery undertones and I can't wait to wear it.
This concealer may look way too light for me but I bought it to highlight under the eyes and to help contour. I've got NC20 which is the lightest shade in this range and let me just tell you that it works extremely well. It really brightens up the face and brings out the eye area. I don't have really dark circles but it does help cover them up, don't crease and is easy to blend in. I love the thick consistency and it stays put for ages.I bought Up The Amp from Mac as it is totally different to any other lipstick I own. Its a beautiful lilac/purple shade which is quite pinky and really stands out. Its not too dark like most purple lipsticks and looks great with really subtle make up. Brilliant for that transition from Summer to Autumn and I think it will look wonderful in the Spring as well. Amplified lipsticks are my favourite formula from Mac as they are very soft and moisturising, brilliant if you have dry lips like me.
