W7 Makeup Products

W7* is a brand that has been around quite a while but you might not have heard of it. They don't sell in drugstores but you can find them in some TK Maxx stores, next, peacocks and other stores along with online at Fragrance Direct. I was asked to try out some make up products from their massive range which I was excited about as I love experimenting with new brands.

I will be doing a separate post about the hair chalk, keep your eyes peeled!
W7 Prime Magic - Eye Primer £4.99
Prime Magic - Eye Primer
I don't use eye primer on a regular basis and the only one I have tried is the Urban Decay primer potion which is incredible. Therefore this did have to live upto high expectations. I liked the applicator of this product as it made things a bit easier on the delicate eye area, the formula is soft and smooths on well. I would say that this made my eyeshadow a bit brighter and prolonged the staying power, even through the really hot weather. It's not as good as UD but a very good alternative and a much better price.
W7 Tea Tree Concealer Stick £3.95
Tea Tree Concealer Stick - Light/Medium
This cover stick was one of my favourites out of all the products. I'm not sure how good it is at covering spots as I don't really get them anymore but it's lovely and brightening for dark circles under the eyes. It applies well and I blend it with my finger as it's a little bit thick and needs the warmth of skin. The tea tree oil in it is an added bonus so is good for putting on spots if you really do hate them and it smells nice too. I would say this is a medium coverage concealer.
W7 Full Colour Lipstick £4.95
Full Colour Lipstick - Annie's Angry
I wasn't too sure about this lipstick at first as I was judging by the packaging and it reminded me of the ones you would get in magazines as a child. However it smells amazing and is the softest, creamiest lipstick I have applied. It's very balmy and moisturising, and applies very smoothly so great if you have dry lips. Baring this in mind you wouldn't think the colour payoff would be that good but its amazing. So bright and loads of pigment just from one application. The colour reminds me of Mac's Girl About Town.
W7 Blush £4.95
Blush Baby - Heart Throb
This blusher was also one of my favourite products from W7. Its a lovely soft peachy pink colour with a very light golden shimmer. It's kind of similar to Sleek's rose gold blush but a little bit less shimmery. This shade is great for the summer as it looks really natural and has a gorgeous glowing effect. The pigmentation is good so you don't need to apply loads and I am absolutely in love with it.
W7 Eyeliner £4.95
Aye Aye Captain - Very Black Liquid Eyeliner
This eyeliner was the only product that I was disappointed in. On the one hand it was very easy to apply and get a good straight line on the eyelid. However it was a tiny bit watery so the first coat came out a bit thin which I hate and had to reapply and touch up a few times. It is very similar to the one by Collection which is in a little bottle, I got that a few years ago and hated it. Don't get me wrong this W7 one is a good product but I am very fussy with liners and want them to be perfect and hassle free. As a teacher would say... Could do better!

Here is a look I created with all my W7 makeup products!
Overall I am very happy with W7 as a brand and I will definitely be looking at more products I can purchase from them in the future. They are really good quality and amazing prices so in my opinion really good value for money.

Thanks for reading
