Vanilla Shimmer Midi Rings

Now everyone knows that midi rings are all the rage this year, so I have got involved and am showing you my new ones from Vanilla Shimmer*.  Normally rings and midi rings are always massive on me as I have tiny hands so Vanilla Shimmer were kind enough to make me these two cute rings especially for my little fingers.
Vanilla Shimmer midi rings
Infinity Ring  $7.00 Double Spiral Ring $3.00
Vanilla Shimmer are an online store selling handmade jewellery and accessories. They have a great selection of rings and I am in love with their range of crystals and gemstone necklaces. The rings I have are the infinity and the double spiral midi, I normally find midi rings so annoying as they are always slipping off but these fit perfectly. Also these ones are handmade and 24k gold plated which is brilliant, and the price is so awesome you can buy one for every finger without breaking the bank.

Vanilla Shimmer midi rings

I love that these rings are so unique and will go with anything. They are so tiny and thin which make them very subtle but definitely do add some extra bling to your outfit. This may sound a bit weird but they make my hands look a lot more pretty and elegant. I think its just the fact that they are so simple, just plain gold wire. My favorite one is the spiral as it looks a little bit Grecian and blends into my finger nicely. It just looks like it's supposed to be there.

You can purchase these rings on the Vanilla Shimmer website here vanillashimmer.storenvy.com. They are also very willing to help over Twitter twitter.com/vanilla_shimmer.

OOTD | Boohoo White Skater Dress

I haven't done an outfit of the day post in a while so I thought I would show you all my new dress from Boohoo. I am channeling my inner Marilyn Monroe with this white strappy skater dress. When I first saw this I wasn't too sure about it, but once I tried it on I had to keep it. Although its a little bit on the retro side, it's an extremely flattering dress and really shows off your figure.

Boohoo White Skater Dress
www.boohoo.com/restofworld/new-in/poppy-strappy-plunge-skater-dress £12.00
I would say that white is quite a bold colour and can be quite difficult to wear as it sometimes looks tacky. However I think Boohoo have done a great job to make this dress stylish and classy at the same time. It's not overly in your face but definitely stands out. I love the floaty skirt part at the bottom as it kind of takes away some of the attention from the incredibly low neckline!

Boohoo White Skater Dress

Its made from quite a thick, stretchy material and feels sort of like neoprene. This dress looks great during the day, walking along the beach with flats or sandals and also looks stunning at night with a pair of heels for dinner. It's a great dress for summer, very versatile and will definitely catch some eyes.

Primark red heels
Primark approx £12.00?

I paired this dress with these gorgeous red heels from Primark. These aren't the most comfortable or the best to walk in but I love them so much I don't care. They look very sophisticated, yet simple at the same time.

Lots of love

P.S. What do you think of this outfit? Love or hate?

Mac Lipstick | Chatterbox

My latest naughty purchase from Mac has been a beautiful pink lipstick called Chatterbox. It has been a staple everyday lipstick for me this summer so I thought I would share its glory with you all.

Mac Chatterbox
www.maccosmetics.co.uk/product/shaded/168/310/Lipstick £15.00
Mac Chatterbox

I would describe this colour as a 'your lips but better' shade. Chatterbox is a gorgeous English rose pink, which is quite girly but brilliant for most skin tones. It's an Amplified finish which is my favourite, its lovely and creamy, smooth to apply and stays on for ages. I would say it doesn't need to be re applied too often, I just do it after food and drink.

Mac Chatterbox

I am so in love with this lipstick at the moment as it's so easy to wear. During the hot weather we have been having in England its a beautiful little touch to add if you don't want to wear much make up. A very simple eye with this lipstick looks amazing, great for a 'no make up' make up look. Its one of those shades where you don't really need to think about whether it matches your make up or not. Chatterbox is a simple pink which will match almost anything so one swipe of this and your done. Perfect on its own or with a gloss.

Rara de Barr Statement Necklace

Statement necklaces are absolutely everywhere at the moment and up until now I have not been too sure they would suit me. However I received this gorgeous one from Rara de Barr* which has totally changed my mind. They are a really unique company which sells gorgeous fashion jewellery and accessories on Facebook

Rara de Barr stocks really bright statement necklaces, bracelets and earrings in loads of different styles and colours. The unique thing about Rara de Barr is that it doesn't sell normally like a shop, the items are auctioned off so you have to be really quick if you want one. She lists how many of each item she has and the price, then when the sale goes live you have to be quick and comment that you want one. So once the item is gone its gone. They have good partnerships with the suppliers so get you the best prices, which is cheaper than the highstreet. After you purchase the product you want it comes nicely wrapped and well packaged so make great presents. Shipping in the UK is free.

Rara de Barr statement necklace

I love the colours in this necklace, the pink and purple looks so pretty and the diamonds sparkle in the light. It's big so everyone can see it but I wouldn't say it's too in your face. Like most necklaces you can change the length as it has a chain at the back, which is brilliant. This one feels quite heavy and really good quality, not cheap and light which some of them can be.

Statement necklaces are brilliant for jazzing up a simple outfit this summer. If you are just wearing a plain top, it completely changes your style, great if your in a rush or are afraid of wearing bold prints. You may be a bit unsure about wearing such a big necklace but honestly if you just keep the rest of your outfit plain then they look amazing.

Give the Rara de Barr Facebook page a like as she posts sneaky previews of the items before they go on sale. Which means you can have a think about which one you want and then your all ready to bid when the auction starts. You can also find her on Twitter here twitter.com/Raradebarr.

Lots of love

P.S. What is your opinion on statement necklaces? Love or hate?

Mole Removal Healing Update

I have uploaded an update video of my mole removal treatment, to show you how they are healing. This was filmed just over a week after I had them removed.

My face looks a lot better now that most of the scabs have fallen off. I am left with a red mark where the skin is still healing, it just looks like acne scarring. Again I hope this video helps people which may want to go through this process. If your only having a few moles removed then I am sure barely anyone would notice, mine looked worse as I had 10 done. They heal up very quickly so don't worry too much about it.

Here is the website for the clinic I used in Essex www.elan-medical-clinic.co.uk

Chemist Direct

Online chemists are fast becoming popular sites, especially with them selling plenty more products than we can find on the highstreet, in some areas even Boot's can't compete. They sell everything you would find in a normal chemist from toothpaste to supplements however these sites are also handy for all those french pharmacy skin care products which are taking over our beauty cabinets. I was recently contacted by Chemist Direct* to have a look at their site and share my opinions with you.

French Pharmacy Skincare

The Chemist Direct website is very easy to use, with a huge range of products. Each one has a massive description so this makes it a lot better to find the right product for you. There are also reviews which customers have left on some products and you can leave your own too.  The site states the RRP and the price that Chemist Direct sell it for, nearly everything is on sale which is amazing! I would say that the photo's of the products could be a bit bigger when you are searching through as some are hard to see but the titles are quite big so this makes up for it.

Chemist Direct

There is a massive choice of products and loads of major brands like L'Oreal, Vichy, La Roche Posay, Burts Bee's, Clinique, Bare Minerals and plenty more. You can filter the products by brand which I found incredibly useful and the prices are really competitive. You will be pleased to know there is a big selection of french pharmacy brands and some of which being the cheapest I've seen. They sell the Vichy Dermablend range which is my favourite full coverage foundation so I am extremely happy. Chemist Direct literally sell everything you need in your bathroom from skincare, make up, fragrances, bath products, hair styling and electrical beauty products.

Chemist Direct let me pick a couple of products to try out. I choose the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Paraben Free Serum as I am so into serum's at the moment. I never thought they would be as great as they are but now they are the biggest part of my skincare routine. This one is brilliant, very hydrating and would be perfect for all skin types, even dry skin. It's quite liquidy so is easy to apply and soaks into the skin quickly. There is no fragrance so is gentle on the skin, you can really feel is moisturising deep down.

One thing which is very handy at the moment is their huge range of suncreams and SPF's. We are having amazing weather here in the UK at the moment so wearing sun lotion is a must if you want to stay safe.

They also have a great range of face SPF's which I have been looking for since getting my moles removed. It's important I use an SPF everyday so that my face doesn't scar while healing. Therefore Chemist Direct let me try out the La Roche Posay Anthelios AC SPF 30 Extreme Fluid for Face, wow that's a title! It's a great sunscreen for the face as it provides high UVA and UVB protection, its thin like milk and applies well. It soaks into the skin quite quickly so you don't have to wait around to apply make up. I love the smell for some reason, its very light and doesn't have that strong sun lotion scent. It does dry matte which is a great bonus as you don't want the sun to shine off your face in the hot weather. Although I would say that if you have very dry skin then this may not be the product for you as the matte finish could dry it out more.

The staff at Chemist Direct are so friendly and willing to help. They are available by email, phone and live chat which is very handy. Delivery of the products was super quick and is free in the UK on orders over £40. Check out Chemist Direct here www.chemistdirect.co.uk.

P.S. Chemist Direct are currently offering 'buy one get one free' on all sun creams, so get in fast and stock up as we all know they can be quite pricey.
There is also currently a sale on Vichy and La Roche Posay, I think most products have more than a third off so hurry if you want to grab a bargain.

My Mole Removal Experience

You probably didn't even notice that I had lots of moles on my face which I have recently had removed. They really bothered me and I hated having to cover them up all the time. So I finally plucked up the courage to get rid of them.

I thought I would make a video explaining my experience to help others that may go through this process. This is a really talky video and I get a bit emotional so please don't feel obliged to watch. I also show a close of my face at the end of the video which is a bit scabby so don't look if you don't like that kind of thing.

I will be uploading more video's to show you the heeling process for anyone worried about what their face will look like through the stages.

Here is the website for the clinic I used in Essex www.elan-medical-clinic.co.uk. They do loads of skin related treatments and I highly recommend them.

Thanks for watching

I recently went a bit crazy and ordered some bits from NYX even though I have no money. I have a make up list where I right down any bits I want and all the products I got from NYX were on my list so I thought it was fully justified. This is going to be quite a photo heavy post, showing you everything I bought and swatches. I have used a few of the items but not all over them yet so reviews will be up in the future.

I shall hopefully be posting reviews of each of these products very soon, my favourite product out of them all is the Cream Blush. I bought all of these from the NYX website here www.nyxcosmetics.co.uk.

Aqua Zinger Review and Giveaway!

I recently received this really cool product from Root7, its called an Aqua Zinger*. It is a fun, easy way to make your own flavoured water with whatever combinations you like. You basically put the fruit in the bottom and it flavours the water you put in the top.  It's easy to carry around and leak proof so you can make up your fruity water, put it in the fridge, then take it out to work or the gym with you. The flask is insulated so keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold.

Aqua Zinger
www.root7.com/aqua-zinger
Aqua Zinger
For my first use I decided to go with a few strawberries, raspberry's and kiwi. However you can pretty much use any fruit you want and add herbs like mint for extra flavour. The bottle comes with instructions on how to use it and few idea's on what fruit combinations to use.
Aqua Zinger

Aqua Zinger

Aqua Zinger
Its so easy to use, just cut up your fruit into small chunks, put them in the bottom compartment, put the grinder bit on top and then screw on the bottle part. As you screw on the bottle it turns to grinder which mushes up the fruit. Then pour in some water, give it a good shake and your done.

Although you can add fruit to water using a normal container, the Aqua Zinger makes it a lot easier. It grinds up the fruit quickly so you don't need to spend lots of time mashing it up. Between the fruit and water is a tiny strainer so you don't get any pulp or bits from the fruit. You can drink straight from the flask if your on the go or pour it into a glass.
Aqua Zinger
The end result is a light, refreshing fruit flavoured water which is so healthy for you. The next fruit I am going to try is lemon, as adding lemons to water can have so many benefits like aiding digestion and cleansing your body.

Although I love a fizzy drinks, they are so bad for you and even fruit juices have a lot of sugar. Water is hands down the best thing to drink but quite often this does get extremely boring so the Aqua Zinger spices things up a bit and makes plain water a lot more interesting. If your on a health kick then this is definitely a product for you.

The Aqua Zinger can be purchased at around £24.99 from multiple retailers including Lakeland, Debenhams and Argos. Use the store locator here to find your nearest shop.

I am giving my readers a chance to win one of these. This is a twitter based giveaway so you need to follow Zing Anything's Twitter account and my twitter account. Please fill in the entry details below using Rafflecopter as this is where I will pick the winner.
You can only enter if you live in the UK and it will run for 3 weeks until 27th June 2014.

Good Luck!
