Mr Nutcase Personalised Phone case

Hello everyone, today I am reviewing a cool personalised phone case which I received from Mr Nutcase*.
Mr Nutcase is a very easy, fun website where you can create and design your own phone case with your pictures and photos. Once purchased it is then sent to you in the post ready for you to use and show off. Ultra Lightweight slimline case £14.95
All you have to do is choose which phone you have and pick the design layout you want, from one big photo to loads of different ones. You then upload the photo's from your computer, arrange them how you want and done! Its a great website and very simple to use. Mr Nutcase phone cases start at only £14.95 which is a brill price.

For those of you that know me a little bit more, you will be wondering why I have photo's of Josh on my case. I did actually design this before we broke up but I am still using it because he is still one of my best friends and the photo's remind me of good memories we had together.

I love my phone case and I think it's such a great idea. If you want to purchase one then you can check out the Mr Nutcase website here

Tag: What's REALLY In My Bag

New video alert!!!
I was tagged ages ago to do the 'What's really in my bag' tag. Most people on YouTube have done the 'What's in my bag' tag but in my opinion they are telling a few porky pie's! No one's bag is that organised, so here I am showing you exactly what is in my bag. Excuse the mess and randomness (that rhymed) but I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for watching

Premae Skincare Balance Rescue Cleansing Face Wash

For the past few weeks I have been trying out the Balance Rescue Cleansing Face Wash* from Premae Skincare. Its a natural organic anti-blemish face wash gel, which can be used daily to removed make up and unclog pores. Premae is a luxury beauty brand who's products are 100% vegan, natural and free from parabens, petrochemicals and SLS. I much prefer using products without nasty chemicals so was very pleased to receive this from Baobella Boutique.

I'll get straight to the point, I was very happy with the product and this is a brilliant face wash. The gel formula is very gentle on the skin, not harsh on sensitive areas and I didn't break out in any spots. Balance Rescue cleans skin thoroughly and removes all make up, your face really does feel wonderfully soft and refreshed after using it.

The only negative I have is that it has a weird smell which I'm not too keen on but most natural products don't smell great. The positives much outweigh the negatives because I would rather it didn't smell nice than have chemical perfumes in, which can be harsh on skin. Its very easy to apply, just rub on, it foams up a tiny bit and then you wash off. Can be used with a face brush or muslin cloth as well.

Packaging isn't great, looks quite basic but as I've said before this doesn't bother me. I care much more about the product than the packaging. The pump on my bottle doesn't work so I do have to keep unscrewing the top each time but I probably just had a dodgy one.

Overall I am very pleased with the Balance Rescue face wash and would 100% recommend it to oily or acne prone skin. I don't really get spots anymore which is amazing and I think it's due to me using great cleansers like this one. The price normally is £22.50 which I think is quite expensive but if your on the hunt for a sure fire cleanser which is gentle and works, then this is the product.

It is currently on sale for only £9.99 on Baobella Boutique which is a really good bargain!

OOTD | Grey Maxi Dress

Here in England we have been having some much needed hot weather over the weekend. So I thought it was the perfect time to get outside and take a few photo's for an outfit of the day. I am wearing a lovely light grey maxi dress from Boohoo. £10
This maxi dress does come up quite big and long. I am wearing a size 6 and it's still baggy, and without heels it does kind of bunch a bit at the bottom. However it was only £10 and will probably fit better once washed so I am extremely happy. It also comes in loads of different colours, which I have my eye on!

I love maxi dresses, they look great and are still light in the summer. This one from Boo Hoo keeps you cool but covered at the same time and makes a really simple/easy outfit. They are great to just throw on quickly or styled up at night time with some statement jewelry. I would say that maxi dresses are one of the most versatile pieces of clothing for day and night.

Lots of love

Wellington Lounge Afternoon Tea | Intercontinental Park Lane

A couple of months ago I went with my mother for afternoon tea at the Wellington Lounge in the Intercontinental Hotel Park Lane. I thought I would share with you my review, a few pictures and my outfit of the day.

The whole experience was very nice. The hotel was beautiful and smart, and bit of a strange thing to notice but it smelt amazing. The Wellington lounge was stunning but laid back at the same time, with neutral calming colours, so was a very relaxing location. The service we received was immaculate and I couldn't fault it at all. Each server only waits on one or two tables so it is not rushed and they are more then willing to help. After looking at a long list of different tea's we both went with the Wellington's own blend which was to die for. Honestly the best tea I have ever tasted, I really which they sold it!

The afternoon tea itself looked amazing and there was a good selection. The starter part was probably the nicest thing I ate, I think it was Spanish ham and fig chutney with goats cheese served on potato bread. The sandwiches weren't bad, a bit boring but that is expected with an Afternoon tea, typical egg, beef and sardine (obviously not in the same sandwich). Next was warm scones fresh out the oven with clotted cream and jam. Although I am not a big fan of scones these were very nice. I was so full by then but we still had loads of cakes to eat. I wasn't overly impressed with the cakes, they looked really good but didn't really perform on taste, although my mum thought they were very nice.

We had a lovely time at the Wellington lounge and would definitely go back again. Although next time I would probably try one of the more expensive afternoon tea menu's that they have. We had the normal afternoon tea which was £28 a head but they also do 2 more which are £38 a head. They also add on 12.5% service charge as well.

I really had no idea what to wear as I wanted to look smart but also acceptable for shopping afterwards. I opted for a long sleeve silky shirt to cover the tattoo :) I think it's from H&M and has a gorgeous print on it. And a plain black skirt from Asos which I fell in love with as it's thick, puffs out a tiny bit and the back is longer than the front, the photo's don't do it justice. Heels are quite low and sophisticated from Next.

Dark Matte Smokey Eye Tutorial

Today I uploaded a new video of how I do a dark matte smokey eye using the Sleek Oh So Special palette.

I have a blog post showing all the shades in this palette so if you don't have it, you can use similar ones.

I used the matte browns, purple and black to create this look. I also applied concealer, bronzer, highligher and a nude lipstick. I did my foundation, brows and false lashes off camera. I would wear this look for a special occasion or a night out as it is quite dramatic. To tone it down I only done a nude lip but you can add more drama and make it bright red which would look great.

Vichy Dermablend Fluid Corrective Foundation

Today it's foundation time! I have been using the Vichy Dermablend Fluid Corrective Foundation for the past few weeks now so I thought I would share my opinion. It promises to be a high coverage foundation for sensitive skin and it hides imperfections and scarring for a flawless 16 hour wear. Vichy is a French pharmacy skincare brand and I purchased mine from Escentual. £17
Right so you may think that I am being way to positive out the products I have been trying recently, but I have literally been finding all my holy grail products all in the space of a few weeks. This foundation is incredible for my skin and gives me exactly what I want.

Vichy Dermablend's coverage is very full but doesn't feel heavy or cakey at all. The layer on your skin seems quite thin yet it still covers all my acne scarring and imperfections. Its not a thick liquid so is very easy to apply, I just put a few dots on my face then blend in with a stippling brush.

Slightly blended
I usually hate buying foundations or any make up online, as you have no idea of how it feels and which shade to pick. However after a little bit of research (mostly Google images) I went with the shade Nude 25. I was so damn lucky though because this shade is a perfect match for me... There was a massive sigh of relief when I first swatched it.

I don't think I have worn this for 16 hours straight but I would say it has definitely lasted 9 hours and still hasn't faded or rubbed off at all, so I have no doubt that it could last for 16. It doesn't dry my skin out nor leave it oily, it is simply perfect all day long.

 Fully blended
I cannot praise this product enough and I will definitely be repurchasing it when I've finished. It is usually £17 which is quite pricey for most people but actually a lot cheaper than most high end foundations. Also the packaging doesn't look too classy but to be honest I don't care, it's whats on the inside that counts. I actually much prefer Dermablend to Mac's Studio Fix Fluid which is my other high end full coverage foundation that I like to use. I think that Studio Fix looks a lot thicker on my skin and drys it out a bit.

Vichy Dermablend is on sale for £14.50 on Escentual at the moment, so now is a good time to try it out.

Sunset Chic Tunic

A few weeks ago I was contacted by Sunset Chic* asking if I wanted to feature one of there gorgeous tunics on my blog. If you have been following my blog since last summer you will know that I'm absolutely obsessed with bikini's and swimsuits and even though I have over twenty of them, I still buy more (it really is an obsession, who needs twenty bikini's). I also love tunics and cover ups to wear around the pool or on the beach, so of course I jumped at the chance. Sunset Chic is an online fashion boutique based in the UK specialising in kaftans, tunics, dresses, beachwear, jewelry and accessories. £21.00
I had a quick look on their website and let me tell you it was so difficult choosing which one I wanted. They have a great range of pretty colours and patterns so you would find it difficult not to find one that matches your swimsuit. With pink being my favourite colour, I couldn't resist this one. It is such a gorgeous bright barbie shade, which will definitely stand out on the beach. I love the jeweled detailing around the neckline as well as it adds a bit of glam to something which is just meant to cover your bikini.

I paired it with some denim shorts however it can be worn just over a swimsuit or even with a vest and trousers in the evening. The tunic is incredible light that it barely feels like you are wearing anything, so you won't be sweating out under the boiling hot sun. It has a drawstring round the waist so it can be cinched in if you want more shape to it or to wear it as a top with some shorts. If not it can be left lose to wear as a dress. The length is great as it covers up all your modesty if you get shy walking around the pool, yet it is quite sheer so your sexy beach bods can be still be slightly seen... Come on we're on holiday, we don't want to cover up completely!

Most products from Sunset Chic are a very reasonable price at around £20 however they also sell a few more detailed tunics at around the £80 mark for those special holidays. If you have any questions you can contact Sunset Chic on twitter, they are so helpful and friendly so will be happy to assist you with your purchase.

Review and Giveaway | Smile Brilliant LED Teeth Whitening Kit

I have recently been trying an at home LED teeth whitening kit by Smile Brilliant*. Smile Brilliant is a national dental lab, based in America, producing loads of different products for you to get that perfect smile. This kit is a good alternative to paying hundreds of pounds for teeth whitening at the dentist or using at home strips which are a bit hit and miss. The kit comes with the teeth whitening gel, protective mouth trays and an LED light. In this post I will be showing how to use this product and my results. I will also be doing a giveway of one of these kits to celebrate my blog reaching 600 followers, so if you want to enter then check that out below.

I have used a couple of teeth whitening kits before and I found this one easy to use with good results. I like that the gel comes in a container which you have to twist to release the gel and you brush it onto your teeth. This is a lot less messier than the kits which come with syringes where you have to apply it to the trays. You just turn the gel a few clicks and apply a thin coat to the outside surface of your teeth. Cover with the protective tray and put the LED light in your mouth with your lips around it. You then sit back and relax for about 30 mins with the light and then I took the light out and just sat with the tray still in for another 30 mins.

Please excuse the really disgusting photo's but how amazing is the difference

I didn't find this product harsh at all and felt no sensitivity, you do have to be careful not to get it on your gums though. As I can sometimes get sensitive teeth from whitening products I did not use this everyday. You can use it everyday if you want to but I used it every 2-3 days. The only negative about this product is the mouth trays. They supply you with two normal trays which are universal so aren't molded to your teeth. They kept moving around so I didn't use them, I used some other trays which I had from another kit which you dunk in hot water and put in your mouth so they mold to your shape. These trays can be purchased on eBay for a couple of pounds. You can also purchase the mouth trays which are specifically made for your teeth, like the ones from the dentist, from Smile Brilliant, but you need to buy a mold kit and send it back to them.

Although my teeth weren't too bad to begin with I think my teeth are a lot whiter and cleaner, it went about 3 or 4 shades lighter and really got rid of some of the stains I had at the bottom. I am so pleased with them and cannot recommend this set enough. Priced at around £23 this product is such a bargain and produces excellent results, there is a shipping charge of about £12 if you live in the UK but even then it is so worth the money!

If you want to get your hands on one of these teeth whitening kits then please fill out the entry form below. As the product will be coming directly from Smile Brilliant you can only enter if you live in the UK, US, CA or AU. This giveaway will run for 4 weeks (from 01/05/14 to 29/05/14) and I will then announce a winner. If I cannot get in touch with the winner after 3 days, I will choose another one. Good luck!
