Clothing Ban 2014

Hey treacles
So this year is a busy year. Basically I am desperate to move out but I need to save big time. Also I know that when I do move out my life will pretty much be over because I will have no money to do anything. Therefore this year I am trying to pack in as many holiday and activities I want to do as well as saving up. This should be fun considering I am the WORST at saving money.

I think I'll buy one of these www.creativatoys.co.uk/new-home-fund
I was tidying up my room last week and I realised that I have way too many clothes.  Way to many! As in I could probably wear a different outfit every single day for the next 3 years. My room is a mess and after 2 double wardrobes and 2 chests of drawers I have completely run out of room. I really think I need to go to shopaholics anonymous.

One wardrobe.... The other is twice as big but really messy! Help me!
Therefore I have put myself on a clothing ban for 2014 to help save more money and room, starting the 1st February. I know this will be extremely difficult because I online shop every single day, and probably buy at least one item of clothing each week. But I really want to try and do this and prove to myself that I can save money. I just thought I would let you all know so that if you hear me saying on here or Twitter that I want this item of clothing then please please please stop me!!!! I mean it just be brutal, I need some tough love.

Lots of love lovelies

Chloe x

P.S. I need as much help as possible so if your on a spending ban this year then please share your tips with me below and we can get through this together

  3. I am the same, me and my boyfriend are desperate for our own place by the end of the year but trying to cram 2 or 3 holidays in too. So I am on a toiletry/ make up ban other than essentials. It is going to be hard but so far I am just motivated to move out that I am fine. Good luck xx

  5. Aww Im exactly in the same situation, although I live with my boyfriend now with another friend, we desperately also want to have our own house so that I am able to decorate it and do whatever I want to the house lol. But like us both, Im a shopping addict, as soon as I get paid I go all crazy and start going shopping not thinking about saving lol. Try getting a piggy bank, the ones you cant break and put at least £20-30 or more each month and hide the piggy bank:) I think youll find ull save money if that helps. I do that all the time and Ive saved alot already:) Its hard and when I see it I wanna break it but hey id feel guilty if did lol. xxx

    1. I know how you feel, thats why I don't want to rent cos I want to decorate it all myself lol. I am like that after every pay day so I am trying to put a bit aside before I go out spending. I would just break into a piggy bank straight away lol, although I might try it this time and have more will power x
