Rana Argan Oil

Hello my sprinkles

Since I have been in school I have dyed my hair so much that no one knows my natural colour. I have been quite lucky and it hasn't made my hair any thinner or look horrible because I do look after my hair. It can sometimes feel quite dry but who's doesn't right? I am late on the Argan Oil band wagon but I recently thought I would give it a go. So I did purchase some from Avon, then about a week later I was contacted by a lovely company called Rana Argan Oil* to see if I wanted to try out their product... Coincedence! They were so nice so of course I said yes.

Rana Argan Oil - £9 30ml or £23 100ml
Most Argan Oil's that you can buy are not pure and have loads of different chemicals added to maybe change the colour or smell. Rana is 100% pure Argan Oil. It has nothing added or taken away. It feels and smells like every other natural oil e.g olive oil or vegetable oil. Don't let this put you off because just think about what all those horrible perfumes and chemicals are doing to your hair.

I have been using their product for about a month now. A few hours before I shower I rub the oil all over my hair from root to tip. I also use a little bit after my shower on the ends of towel dried hair. It claims to make your hair grow quicker and healthier, tame frizz and smooth hair. My hair grows quickly anyways so I'm not sure if this works but it definitely feels lovely and healthy. I have recently gone blonde so my hair was very dry after I dyed it. I used a lot of the oil and it has helped repair my hair and bring it back to its normal self.

My hair feels great
I am really happy with this product. As you may have seen on Twitter I am trying to use more natural products or ones with the least harsh chemicals. I think it's great that Rana have filled a gap in the market and have produced a pure natural hair oil. I used this solely on my hair but it can be used on your face, nails or all over your body. You can use a little bit after cleansing, under make up, stop dryness or even make it into a mask. It is so versatile which is why I love it.

You can purchase this from their website which is
or contact them on Twitter
and they will be happy to help.

Let me know if you try this product and what you thought.

Thanks for reading my sunshines

#OOTD Date Night

Well hello there my dears

Yesterday was date night so me and my boyfriend went to see Grown Ups 2 at the cinema. So I thought I would do a nice little outfit of the day post and show you what I wore.

Bit dressy for the cinema but my boyfriend likes me to wear heels everywhere :/
Top - Primark £4
jeans - New Look £12
Shoes - Primark £14

I hope you like my look. I just threw my hair up in a messy bun as I was in a rush. Grown Ups 2 was quite good but I thought it was not as good as the first one. Let me know what you think of my outfit or what you thought of the film.

Lots of love my sprinkles

Check out this funny video of my boyfriend and his mate. We had really heavy rain in Essex at the weekend so they decided to act like idiots!

New Mac Products

Hiya sweetie pies

A couple of weeks ago I visited Mac at Covent Garden and bought a couple of new goodies. As always the choice is unbearable and I had no idea what I wanted as I have a long wish list. But I went with a new lipstick and a paint pot.

Paint pot - Bare study £15.00
Lipstick - Morange £14.50

Mac paint pots are basically a creamy eyeshadow which drys and lasts for ages. Bare study is a subtle neutral shimmery shade, and is very light and versatile. It can be used as a base for other powder eyeshadow or you can just sweep it on for a quick fix when your in a rush. Great for everyday or used with dark shadows for a smokey eye night time look.

Morange is an orange amplified finish lipstick with slightly pink/peach undertones. Although an orange lipstick is not everyone's cup of tea it is very on trend at the moment and Mac's Morange is so popular. It looks like it will come out really bright but it really isn't. As you can see from the picture below it is not a bright neon orange, but quite a subtle orangey/pinky/red. Its so difficult to explain.

Sorry for the poor photo's but I wanted to get this post out to you quickly. I am wearing both the paint pot and the lipstick in the picture above. I literally just swept it over my eyes and added liquid eyeliner. This is what I would wear as an everyday look to work.

I hope you like this look and let me know what Mac products you are loving.

Love you all my dears

P.S. I will try and post some better photo's of me wearing these products in different make up looks

Howdy there buttercups

Secretly in my spare time I am a party animal and like to live it large at the weekends. That's all a lie! Truthfully I am quite a boring 20 year old and don't go out out very often. Can't beat a quiet night in.

Now I don't smoke myself but some of my friends do, so I am always going up to the smoking area in clubs, standing awkwardly freezing my arse off. I would say the fresh air is nice, but then smokers fumes aren't really fresh. So luckily I received the coolest products from iSmoke*.

iSmoke eShisha - £3.99 each
They are eShisha portable electronic cigarettes. Which are similar to normal e-cigarettes but 100% nicotine, tar and tobacco free, so aren't harmful. They are totally healthy and taste so fruity. I am not an advocate of smoking and wouldn't do anything to harm my body, so I wouldn't try these if I knew they would affect me in anyway.

Tastes so good. A great alternative to smoking!
I was sent Strawberry Kush and Grapalicious (they also have Blueberry Bubble, Peach Passion and Sour Apple) and oh my goodness I could puff on them all day. They are perfect if your the awkward one in the smoking area not smoking like me, and they look so classy with a diamond in the end which glows red when you take a puff. I think they look so elegant and definitely  look and taste better than normal cigarettes  A lot of celebrities have been seen with them, so they are becoming the new trend guys and will soon be everywhere.

Why am I such a weirdo?
If your a smoker why don't you go back to your New Years resolution and try giving up (Yep I can read your mind! I know that you did that and gave in a week later). But this time try replacing them with eShisha, you still have something in your hand to puff on but it tastes a whole lot better.

They last for ages and are only £3.99 at the moment.

Here's a link to their website
and check them out on Twitter

Try them out and let me know what you think.

Thanks for reading my lovelies

P.S. Please excuse the yellow hair, I am in the process of going blonde.

Tag: Make up Firsts and Fails

Hello my sweeties

I was tagged by the lovely Orlaith from Lady With The Bags to do this post of my make-up firsts and fails. I think when everyone went through senior school they had loads of major make up fails and if they say they didn't they were either lying or a born make up artist. I didn't really wear too much makeup when I was younger as I had quite bad acne and didn't want to disturb it. I would mostly just wear basic eye make up and that never looked too bad.
But here is a few of my fails that I remember.

Random emo days... loving the coloured hair extensions
Who didn't go through the ninety's without lots of glitter! I remember having loads of glitter eyeliners and those Barry M Dazzle Dust pots haha. But not in normal colours... They were all blues and greens and pinks and I would like a right state because I just wore them, no foundation or mascara!

I would never take the time to pick a foundation which suited my skin colour. I think I used to think that you would wear the foundation of the skin colour you want to be and your not supposed to match it to your skin. Therefore when I did wear them they were always too light or too dark. I also discovered fake tan and this was not a pretty sight.

Too much foundation
So totally orange
Not blending:
Up until quite recently I would always apply my makeup with my hands like paint. This lead to major face problems like having that line along your jaw where you haven't blended properly. This is so easy to get and sometimes people don't tell you that you have it. Thankfully I now have a boyfriend, that is so truthful it is often harsh, and he always tells me when my foundation is not blended properly (This is sometimes very annoying).

Damn I used to have a fat face... too much fake tan
Covering up:
I think my biggest make up fail was putting makeup on my spots to try and cover them. Oh my god biggest mistake ever! I now know this made them 10 times worse. Over the past couple of years I stopped doing this and went through life barely wearing foundation unless I was going out. I put up with having acne scars and spots on show everyday, but now I am so glad I was brave enough to do this as my skin is all better. I never get any spots anymore and a lot of my scars have cleared up. I still have a few on my cheeks but I am sure these will disappear soon.

I have tagged the beautiful Kellie from Beauty Ever After to do this post so check out her blog to read her response.

Thanks for reading buttercups

P.S. These photo's are mostly from year 10 and 11 as we didnt really have good camera phones before then, but I will see if I can find some older ones. Also I will be doing a separate post soon all about my acne and spot ordeal.

Me and Gypsie
I looked so much better when I just wore eye makeup and no foundation

Favourite Make Up Brush

Hello there beauty lovers

Today I thought I would show you my favourite make up brush at the moment. I bought it a couple of weeks ago and can't get over how fantastic it is.

It's the one and only Expert Face Brush by Real Techniques.

I also purchased the Stippling Brush and Duo Fiber Collection but this is my favourite.

Superdrug - £8.99

This brush is so soft and gentle on your skin. I am currently using it to apply liquid foundation. It glides on your skin, giving you a full, flawless coverage. The brush spreads out the foundation so amazingly without being harsh. You can also use it for cream foundations, blushers and powders.
This is a great all round brush, so instead of using 5 different brushes on your face, you can just use this one.

Thanks for reading

Much love my sweeties

P.S. I will do a post on my foundation routine soon.

MOTD Big Doll Eyes

Hello there petals

Today I experimented with my eye makeup to try and make my eyes look bigger and more feminine. I normally do the same eye make everyday unless I am going out. I never do a winged eyeliner because I am crap and never get both eyes to look the same, so usually it is just a straight line. However today I had a little experiment. I also changed my hair style a few times for you guys to see a few different looks.

I managed to do winged eyeliner!!!!!
Woo hoo I was so happy that they were straight and looked nearly the same (After about 10 attempts).
Adding a small wing does definitely make your face look more feminine. I also used white eyeliner on my waterline to make my eyes appear larger.

I think the side messy bun looks great every day, or smart and away from your face for work. I did a couple more hairstyles below.

The big messy waves look gorgeous for a night out clubbing, as it is loose, sexy and you don't have to worry about it.

The wavy side ponytail would suit a night out on a date or to a restaurant, as your still showing the length of your hair but keeping it tied back.

Here is a list of the make up I used:

Foundation - Maybelline Super Stay 24 hour
Consealer - Collection Lasting Perfection
Powder - L'Oreal True Match
Bronzer - Seventeen Instant Glow
Blusher - Seventeen
Liquid eyeliner - Bourjois Clubbing liner ultra black
Eyeshadow - Urban Decay Naked 2
White eyeliner pencil - MUA
Black eyeliner pencil - Rimmel
Lip Lacquer - Rimmel Apocalips in Apocaliptic

Thanks for reading my fellow beauty lovers!

P.S. I will be making the effort to do more stuff with my hair as I can never be bothered and always have it down. If you would like to see more hair posts or tutorials then let me know.

Nail art

Hiya my rays of sunshine

I love doing nail art and experimenting on my nails. I have bitten my nails practically my whole life so I get acrylics put on in the salon. After a couple of days I get bored and repaint them myself. You may have already seen some of my designs on Twitter or Instagram but I thought I would show you the ones I did last night in a blog post.

If you guys like these types of nail posts or want to see tutorials then let me know.

Here are some of my previous experiments

Let me know of any designs you think I should try and I'll definitely give them a go.

Thanks for reading my petals

P.S. I might even do some video's if I get lots of requests.
